I'm wanting to sell this car because i moved closer to my work and i can now walk or ride my bike to work. I've found that i don't drive as much anymore and i don't want this fun car to go to waste. This car has a sunroof, leather interior, heated seats, bluetooth calling (media is played through the aux port), everything in the car is fully functional and there are no cosmetic issues other than a slight discoloration of the parking brake. This is one good looking mini!!! She is so fun to drive! It's like driving a go-cart on steroids! My wife and i looked at minis for about a year before we decided on this one. The base mini wasn't even worth looking it, it's so anemic, and even the s model is severely underpowered. Once i found this one, there was no going back to the s model. The john cooper works edition ads so much to these minis... Besides the boost in horsepower and torque... Red brembo brakes, unbelievable sounding exhaust, 6 speed manual transmission, wider tires, the car sits lower, and handles so much better! I could go on and on about how awesome the jcw package is... Anyone who knows minis, knows about the jcw package! As it worked out, i ended up buying her as a surprise for my wife for mother's day 2012. I bought her from the dealer in las vegas, and had her shipped up here. She was originally purchased in february 2010 after sitting on the dealer's lot in nyc for 6 months. The original owner had her for slightly over 2 years, and then i picked her up in 2012 with 16,247 miles on her. She has always been a "summer" car for my wife. This car is all about fun, and that's the only time she has been driven... When the weather permits. She has been so fun to drive! She has always been meticulously maintained and taken care of at the mini dealer (both my us, as well as the original owner). Very few complaints ever, and they have all been taken care of at mini of murray. Original sticker price was north of $40k... Then a few options were added (chrome hood scoop, front stabilizer bar, etc.). Pretty much every option was checked when she was built for mini of manhattan... Heated seats, front & rear fog lights, hid headlights, premium sound, etc., etc., etc.. We had new tires put on the front last fall before she got tucked away for the winter (literally the front tires have 70 miles on them). We had the rears replaced 2 years before that, and they have about 6,000 miles on them. Oil was changed at the beginning of the year last year (1,600 miles ago). Come take her for a spin. The engine runs very well as of right now, and probably will for at least the next 2 months with normal use, but several mechanics have told me that it will require a new engine in the near future. Manual Transmission. The coolant is seeping into the pistons resulting in a loss of coolant, so be sure to Always keep an eye on the level in order to prolong the engine as much as possible
